Encounter at FORUS

　北欧のデザインは楽しい。大胆なグラフィックや色使いは見ているだけで元気になる。服に雑貨、インテリア、ステーショナリーと何でもあるけれど、いちばん気になるのはテキスタイルやバスオル。ワンピースは自分で着るより、人が可愛らしく着こなしているのを見るのが好き。そういえばプレゼントもここで選ぶことが多いな。フィンランドは行ったことがないけれど、こんなデザインが生ま
れた国をいつか見てみたいと思っている。

Scandinavian design is simply joyful. Bold graphics and colors make me smile. From clothes ,sundries, interiors to stationaries, it’s just countless. ough my favorite is the textile and the bath towel. I love looking at pretty dresses being worn rather than myself dressed up in them. In fact, this is one of my favorite shops to buy gifts. I’ve never been to Finland, but I’d some day love to see the land where these lovely designs were born.

　ここにはほぼ毎週来ている。限定モデルとか別注アイテムとか、いつも何かしら新しいモノがあるからだ。スニーカー好きとしては、壁一面にシューズが並ぶこの光景もたまらない。特に好きなナイキが大充実しているし。「これだけ揃っているのは北陸じゃここだけですよ」と顔なじみの店員さんが言う。靴だけじゃなくたまにウェアも物色。あのスニーカーにはこのTシャツだ、とか、ああだこうだ考えていると、いつも結構な長居をしてしまうんだ。

I visit here almost every week. ere’s always something new like limited models or exclusive items. As a sneaker lover, I’m more than happy staring at the walls lled with sneakers. On top of that, they have enough Nike’s that I love. “You can’t nd so many Nike’s in Hokuriku else where” the familiar sta says. Not only the shoes but also I sometimes check out outts. Imagining that T-shirt ts perfectly with this sneaker, this type of daydream keeps me here for a while.
